Mulberry was a temporary harbor structure, or pontoon, constructed during the Second World War. It was located in Garlieston Bay, Wigtown Bay, Solway Firth, and was part of a series of floating docks used to support military operations; no lives or cargo were lost, as it was a fixed, non-sailing structure.
