What is recorded here

Mounds is a vanished boundary cairn on Carron Mountain, marking the Cork-Limerick county line between Ballyhaght and Streamhill East. It appears only as a small mound on older surveys, while modern satellite views show nothing but rough pasture. The stones may have scattered under pasture, weather or forgotten hands, leaving a ghost of ownership floating in open air.
