MOUND

MOUND, RAISED RATH?

What is recorded here

MOUND - RAISED RATH? is a hidden chamber where forgotten children still play, their laughter bouncing off walls that have no doors. The question mark at the end is not doubt, but invitation: the chamber wants to be entered, not measured. Children who jump in return changed, seeing the world through skin instead of sight. The chamber keeps them safe from the cruelty of ordinary life, but it also feeds on their wonder.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as MOUND - RAISED RATH?. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
