Killalongford is a small village in County Carlow, Ireland. It contains Mound in Killalongford, marked as a mound on the official list. The name and location are clear even when the history is still emerging.

The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Small mound levelled during land clearance. Possible bullaun stone (CW009-043002-) found at that time now in Knockananna Museum Co. Wicklow. Field known locally as 'Crone Field' and believed to be site of convent associated with St. Croine.
