What is recorded here

In a plantation of coniferous trees. There is now no evident trace of the 'mound' mentioned by T.F. Riley in his report on the excavation of a 'dolmen' in 1935 (NMI top. files). The mound is located on his sketch map c. 50m ESE of the dolmen (LI017-032---). According to local information the mound was removed when the trees were planted here in the 1970s.
