What is recorded here

Droagh holds a medieval motte, scheduled and marked at its centre, where earth was shaped into a small hill of power. Men may have climbed it in darkness or watched the valley from its crest, turning ordinary ground into a boundary they could defend. The soil still carries that choice, waiting for footsteps to remember the shape of fear and pride that built it.
