Belvoir Park Mound stands in Ballylenaghan as a medieval motte, its earth raised deliberately rather than dropped by chance. The mound may have carried a small timber hall, a guard post or a family marker visible across open country. People walked past it for centuries, perhaps taking it for an ordinary hill while forgetting the hands that shaped it. It still belongs to the land, waiting for someone to imagine the life that built it.
