Dunhin rises in Shanes Castle Park as a medieval motte and bailey, its earthworks still shaping the green bowl where people walk today. The official record preserves the site as scheduled, acknowledging that human hands built and used the land before modern memory arrived. A knight may have stood on the mound at dawn, watching the valley breathe, while ordinary lives moved through the bailey below. The grass hides more than it reveals, keeping the shape of that lost world intact.
