Moreia Chapel (also known as Moriah) on Cwmgarw Road, Upper Brynamman, was built in the 19th century by the Welsh Calvinistic Methodist tradition. It is a small rural chapel reflecting the Nonconformist religious revival in Wales and represents the spread of Methodism in the post-medieval period.
