What is recorded here

Palacecraig Railway Bridge spans the Monkland Canal in North Lanarkshire, a nineteenth-century structure built to carry rails above water. It is no longer a working canal, but the bridge remains, its stones worn smooth by time and traffic long gone. Perhaps it still hums faintly when wind moves through its arches, remembering the weight of trains that once crossed without breaking stride.
