Situated on a low E-W ridge in a low-lying landscape. Visible as a rectangular enclosure defined by what may be fosses on aerial photographs (ASIAP, WX 67, 23–25). It is visible on the ground as a slightly raised subrectangular grass-covered area (dims 48m E–W; 40m N–S) defined by low scarps (H 0.2-0.5m). It may be a moated site.
