Situated just below the summit of a low hill on a NW-facing slope. A raised square-shaped area (dims. 26m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.8m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1.5m) and wide outer fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.2-0.8m) with possible causewayed entrance (Wth 3m) at W. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
