St Finan's Church at Migvie is associated with St Finan, an 8th-century Pictish saint and bishop, traditionally linked to the founding of monastic sites in the north-east of Scotland. The church and its graveyard are thought to have been important religious and burial sites during the early medieval period, reflecting the spread of Christianity among the Picts.
