What is recorded here

This shell midden (L 42m; T 0.002-1m), on a S-facing cliff face, was exposed following the winter storms in December 2013/January 2014. It is composed of mainly winkle shells to the E and limpet shells to the W. Intermittent flecks of charcoal are evident particularly in the W half of the section as well as fragments of butchered animal bone. The attached image is uploaded courtesy of Dr Deb Rotman.
