Midden in Ballycarbery South

This shell midden, formerly exposed on the foreshore of the White Strand in Valencia Harbour, is no longer visible. It appears to have been a substantial deposit and was extant in the 1940s (local information). The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
