What is recorded here

Amongst the sand-dunes on the shoreline of Trá Mór. A midden containing burnt granite boulders was noted here in 1982 (Topgr. Files, UCG). No surface trace is now visible: it may have been covered by shifting sands. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'.
