Meincyn is a sea cliff in Ceredigion, composed primarily of Silurian greywacke and shale, formed around 440–420 million years ago through sedimentation and subsequent tectonic uplift. The cliff is notable for its exposure of ancient marine sediments and its contribution to understanding the geological history of west Wales.
