Megalithic tombs in Fermanagh date from the prehistoric period when people buried their dead beneath large stones. The giant's grave name suggests local tradition remembered the scale or strength of the builders. Killycreen East still keeps that old shape, waiting for rain, grass and footsteps to reveal how much of the chamber remains.
