What is recorded here

Approximately five thousand years ago, people hauled enormous stones across County Down and built a chamber for the dead. They trusted the weight of rock to hold memory when flesh forgot. The tomb has vanished or been destroyed, but the approximation remains marked on the land. That is often what survival means: a shape remembered, not a thing preserved.
