According to an article in the Irish Independent on the 10th Sept. 1958 under the title 'Destruction of Norman Moat in Tipperary', 'In Ardinnan a megalithic tomb had been bulldozed for gravel, crushed up and spread about the place'. The location of this monument is unknown.
