What is recorded here

This blue commemorative plaque records: This plaque is to commemorate the arrest of leading members of The Kinder Mass Trespass on 24th April 1932 Following their return to Hayfield after the protest. They served prison sentences of up to six months for their part in the campaign for access to our countryside.
The Mass Trespass of Kinder Scout was a pivotal event in the fight for public access to Britain's moors and mountains, led by ramblers protesting against restricted rights to roam; it catalyzed the establishment of national parks and improved public access laws.
