Mantle Walls are a possible medieval Bishops Palace in the Scottish Borders, now reduced to a fragment of stone. The exact boundary has blurred, leaving only a ghost of rooms and a suggestion of power. What remains is a wall, a shadow, and a name that still points toward the chamber it once enclosed.
