Mannin Castle stands in ruins in County Galway, Ireland, its tower house reduced to a broken shadow rather than a complete wall. The site retains the shape of a defensive home though time has removed most of its structure. What remains is a stark reminder that human ambition builds tall and decay returns it to the earth.
