What is recorded here

Described by Oliver Davies (ITA 1943) as a portion of a stone-built passage (L c. 4m; Wth c. 1.5m; H c. 1.2m) roofed with three large lintels (L c. 2m; Wth c. 1m) it is now reduced to a sunken hollow (L 7m; Wth 1m; D 0.7m) with an inaccessible opening at N. It is within cashel (LE011-102001--). The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
