What is recorded here
That is the only available evidence provided.
In pasture, on a N-facing slope. On the 1st ed. (1841) OS 6-inch map a ‘cave’ is depicted immediately outside the enclosing bank of a ringfort (KE022-007----) at E. It is not depicted on later OS map editions. No visible surface trace of this possible Man-made underground passage was evident during a site inspection in 1985.
