Rathoran is a man-made underground passage in County Kerry, Ireland. It is a cave-like passage near a ringfort, the kind of hidden place people build when they want to keep warm, hide goods or escape danger. The area has been lived around for centuries, and the passage may have served more than one generation.

According to Toal (1995, 175, 659), a 'Cave', which is most likely a Man-made underground passage, is marked on the 1841-42 OS map within the interior/in the vicinity of a ringfort (KE017-014----). Compiled by: Matt Kelleher Date of upload: 19 August 2013
