In a rath in Rahanane, a central hut once stood beside a big heap of stones marking an underground entrance. Two hollows on the western edge, the larger holding a stone slab, may still outline that hidden passage. Local information says people infilled the hole to keep others from falling in, turning a mysterious dark space into a quiet warning about forgotten depth.

In a rath (KE059-007----). In the 1940s 'a big heap of stones, which mark the entrance to a Man-made underground passage' at 'one end' of a central hut (KE059-007002-), was recorded (ITA). Two hollows, the larger containing a stone slab, occur on the W perimeter of the hut site and may form the Man-made underground passage entrance. According to local information, the Man-made underground passage was infilled as a safety precaution.
