Underground passage in the Moyge ringfort, recorded in the early 2000s Cork inventory after local accounts described a stone-lined passage that partially collapsed around 1916. A shallow north-south depression, seven metres long and less than a metre deep, still marks the south-west quadrant where the roof may have fallen. People may have dug it for storage, escape or ritual, but the stones and shadow suggest more than a ordinary hole.

In ringfort (CO007-091---). According to local information, stone-lined Man-made underground passage partially collapsed c. 1916. Depression (L 7m; Wth 4m; D 0.58m; long axis N-S) noted in SW quadrant of interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
