Maulyregan holds a man-made underground passage inside a ringfort, marked only by a central depression in the interior soil. The hollow may hide a chamber where people once descended from daylight, perhaps to store grain, hide during storms, or speak with ancestors. Whatever they kept below, the earth swallowed the entrance while the ringfort walls still stand.
