Circular univallate rath KE009-033---- is enclosed by an earth and stone bank, on average 6.9m wide and rising to a maximum of 2m externally and 1.3m above the interior.
The interior is at a higher level than the surrounding land. In the W sector is a semi-circular raised area, .7m high, curving in towards the bank. About 3m to the E of this is a small depression, 2.3m x 1.6m, and 2.4m NE of this is another depression, 1.8m x 2m.
