Knockaninane West hides a blocked passage beneath a stone flag inside an ancient rath. The southern dip between the inner bank and a hut site suggests a collapsed chamber, perhaps lost when weight or water finally broke the roof. People may have walked that dark tube to store treasure, escape storms or speak with dead ancestors before the earth swallowed the way.

In a rath (KE059-016----). According to the landowner, this possible Man-made underground passage is blocked-up and covered by a stone flag. A depression in the S half of the rath, between the inner bank at S and a hut site (KE059-016002-) to the N, may indicate a collapsed Man-made underground passage chamber.
