The rectangular depression sits inside the inner bank of the rath at the northwest. It measures 9.4 metres northeast-southwest and 4 metres northwest-southeast at the top, narrows to 7.3 metres and 1.3 metres at the base, and reaches 1.2 metres deep. No spoil or stones are visible.
