Man-made underground passage in Fossa

Man-made underground passage

What is recorded here

Three or four underground caves formed a cross inside a Kerry rath before the site vanished from modern knowledge. People may have breathed in that dark chamber, marked a season or hidden a life instrument while the earth held them safe. The caves are gone or buried now, but the cross shape suggests human intention rather than random water erosion. Memory must build the chamber again because the field no longer gives it back.
In a rath (KE066-089----). 'Three or four underground caves ranged in the form of a cross' were recorded here in the 1940s (ITA). The precise location of this possible Man-made underground passage or of the rath is not known.
