Under the north-western edge of the Curraclogh ringfort, a shallow depression still marks the mouth of a passage built by human hands. Whether it led to a hiding place, a water cache or a forgotten chamber, the earth keeps the shape of that choice. To stand beside it is to imagine the last person who entered in darkness, listening for echo before retreat.
