Under the rath at Corrower in County Mayo, tradition claims a man-made passage still exists though no entrance or trace remains visible at ground level. The absence does not diminish the claim; it redirects attention beneath the soil, where darkness and depth may have hidden the work of human hands. People may have walked that passage during storms, stored what mattered, or simply avoided being seen. The rath stands empty above while the story continues below.
