One chamber, fifty metres from another chamber, both hidden under a ordinary garden in County Mayo. The first appeared in 1985 during wall work, was studied, then closed; the second waits beside a rath, still unnamed and unopened.
In the garden of a farmhouse. This Man-made underground passage is not shown on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps. It was uncovered in 1985 by the landowner while digging foundations for a garden wall to S of the farmhouse. It is of drystone construction with lintel roofing. Following the discovery, it was closed up, and is now inaccessible. A possible Man-made underground passage (MA031-040001-) is located 50m to S within a rath (MA031-040----).
