What is recorded here

Ó Ríordáin wrote in 1933 that the cavity at the heart of the Coolanagh ringfort was still being pointed out as the entrance to underground chambers. The green has since swallowed the mark, erasing the exact edge of the hidden passage. The absence does not kill the claim; it removes the easy proof and forces imagination to complete what measurement stopped recording.

Ó Ríordáin (1933, 63) mentions cavity in centre of ringfort (CO095-06802-) which 'is pointed out as the entrance to underground chambers'. No visible trace of cavity in overgrown interior.
