Closed in the 1930s, the underground chamber in Cloonee still leaves a circular depression behind. Stone steps once led down into the dark, but human curiosity or fear bricked the mouth shut. The rath keeps its secret, waiting for someone brave enough to listen for movement below the soil.

In a rath (KE101-034----). According to local information, a roughly circular depression (diam. 1.3m; D 0.25m) indicates the location of an underground chamber, which had stone steps leading down into it and which was closed in the 1930s.
