Man-made underground passage in Claddagh West

In N half of a ringfort (GA030-040----). What is visible is a grassy linear hollow (L 13.3m) running N-S. It averages 3.2m in width and is up to 0.75m in depth but widens at N end to 4.9m, possibly marking the site of a chamber. A few large stones protrude from its base and there is a pile of soil beside the hollow at its N end. According to local tradition, this is the site of a 'cave' which runs underground to Claddagh Castle (GA030-042----) which lies 550m to SE.
