What is recorded here
In the SSW sector of a ringfort (MA070-105----). A large rectangular hollow (int. L 3.5m NW-SE; Wth 1.7m; max. D 1.3m) may be the remains of a robbed-out Man-made underground passage. The interior contains loose moss-covered stones and similar stones lie scattered on the ground surface about the hollow. Local tradition recalls that this was a ‘cave’ which led to a second ringfort (MA070-055----) c. 130m to the N.
