Man-made underground passage in Brulea

Discovered 1971. Local knowledge of similar discovery in 19th century. Two chambers arranged in H-shape, earth cut. (McCarthy 1977, 177-8). Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
