No rath-cave is now known to exist in Brackhill, but a man-made underground passage once stood on the farm of Cronin at the extreme east of the townland. The site has been ploughed up and the stones probably utilised for building, erasing the entrance and leaving only a vague tradition behind. What remains is a ghost of a chamber, swallowed by fields and repurposed into walls, proving that even hidden caves can be forgotten when humanity stops remembering them.

The precise location of the site of a possible Man-made underground passage in the townland of Brackhill has not been identified. Described by Macalister (1902, 51) recorded the following details; 'No rath-cave is now known to exist in Brackhill; but after several enquiries I found a tradition of such a structure having stood on the farm of a man named Cronin, at the extreme east of the townland.
