Man-made underground passage in Ballysheen

According to the landowner, a Man-made underground passage system was uncovered several years ago which has since been closed up. In 1969 John Deady inspected a Man-made underground passage at Ballysheen, Abbeydorney, but he gives an incorrect 6-inch map number and co-ordinates, so it is difficult to distinguish whether this the same one. In 1969, four of the chambers which ran in a WSW-ENE direction were accessible. The capstone of one of the chambers was removed to provide access.
