Ballycurrany West hides a two-chambered earth-cut passage inside a ringfort, yet no surface trace remains to mark the entrance. The passage was backfilled before inspection, suggesting someone chose to bury the creepways rather than leave them open. That act turns the site into a temporary threshold: a place where underground movement was possible, then deliberately erased.
