What is recorded here

Mains of Skeith in Moray, Scotland, still carries a medieval castle shadow beneath later farm buildings. A 19th Century threshing mill, barn, cottage and stable suggest the land kept feeding people long after any knight left. The castle may have fallen first, but the mains kept working, turning grain and muscle into life.

The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
