Nine Main Street in Pembrokeshire stands as a Post Medieval dwelling now known as Castle Pharmacy. It is not clear whether the pharmacy name came before or after the domestic rooms, but the building has worn both uses without apology. A pharmacy needs memory as much as measurement, and this is the kind of place where memory accumulates in brass, glass and repeated requests.
