What is recorded here
Maesllwch Castle, Home Farm (On site of Stables) is a Post Medieval stable in Powys, Wales. The building still occupies the same ground where horses once stood, breath fogging the air in winter and hooves striking stone in rhythm. People may have worked there at dawn, feeding animals before travelling the valley roads. The castle name suggests a larger estate, but the surviving function is smaller: a place where living creatures were kept warm and fed through the night.
The National Monuments Record of Wales records Maesllwch Castle, Home Farm (On site of Stables) as Stable from the Post Medieval period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
