What is recorded here
Madryn castle Farm taught children to farm until 1954, when the school moved to Glynllifon. Its ledgers still list butter, eggs, milk, sheep, pigs and potatoes, proving the land was measured in daily life rather than forgotten. The castle name suggests older walls, but the surviving evidence is domestic: lessons written in cream, manure and market prices.
