What is recorded here
Toberrooaun still holds the ruined tower house of the MacPhilbins, a martial marker in County Mayo where stone walls once watched the land. The exact shape of its chambers has faded, but the ruin preserves the family's claim to the area and the violent practicality of tower-house life.
