Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Lytham as Wreck from the Ôl-ganoloesol period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The *Lytham* was a vessel recorded in the National Monuments Record of Wales as a wreck from the early medieval period (circa 11th–12th century). Little is known about how or when it was lost, but its remains are of archaeological significance as a rare example of early seafaring in Welsh waters.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
